Bachelor of Science, Indiana University ‘93

Pete has been with Parsons & Associates, PC since it began in 1999. Pete graduated from Indiana University School of Business in 1993 with a Bachelors of Science in Business with a major in accounting. Prior to establishing Parsons & Associates, PC, Pete was an internal auditor for a local bank and a staff accountant for a regional accounting firm.

Pete works closely with clients to implement and manage their accounting systems, provides a financial voice for his clients business operations, prepares corporate and individual income tax returns and leads a team motivated to provide excellent client service.

Pete and his wife Kim have three children, Simon, Elijah and Elire. They attend Bethany Christian Church. In his spare time, Pete enjoys golfing, running, and spending time with family and friends.

Bachelor of Science, Indiana State University, ‘86

Dirk joined Parsons & Associates in November, 2014. He is a graduate of the Indiana State University School of Business with a Bachelors of Science in Accounting. Dirk earned his Certificate in Management Accounting (CMA) in August, 2005 from the Institute of Management Accountants.

Prior to joining Parsons & Associates, Dirk worked in the Tax Department of Kimball International for more than 23 years. Prior to that, he was the controller at a grain elevator company for three years.

Dirk and his wife Mary have two children, Zach and Hannah. Zach is married to Rachael and they have two children, Everett and Graham. Hannah is married to Ethan Mattingly. Dirk and Mary attend Bethany Christian Church.

Bachelor of Science, Indiana University ‘86

Cindy joined Parsons & Associates in 2004. She is a graduate of the Indiana University Kelley School of Business with a Bachelors of Science in Business with a major in finance. Prior to joining Parsons & Associates Cindy worked at American General Finance and Crossroads Christian Church in various accounting and managerial positions.

Cindy and her husband Jeff have three children, Brad, Hannah and Stephen. She is a member of and volunteers at Bethany Christian Church and is a board member of the Daviess County Community Foundation.

Bachelor of Science, Saint Mary of the Woods College ‘13

Lori joined the Parsons & Associates team in August, 2015. She is a graduate of Saint Mary of the Woods College with a Bachelors of Science in Accounting. Lori is an Enrolled Agent and has 20 years’ experience working in the tax industry. Just prior to joining Parsons and Associates, Lori worked as a Post Auditor for Walgreens Co.

Lori and her husband Brad, attend Thursday Church, and they have four children, daughters Brooke (Blake) Blackburn, and Morgan (Joe) Ramirez, and sons Garrett (Sara), and Nash. Their family also includes 6 grandchildren: Arlo, Rhett, Frank, Eliza, Gracie, and Edie.

Bachelor of Science, University of Southern Indiana '97, Associate of Science, Vincennes University '95

Sherri joined Parsons & Associates in August, 2018. She graduated from Vincennes University in 1995 with an Associate of Science in Business Administration and went on to graduate two years later from University of Southern Indiana with a Bachelors of Science in Accounting.

Before joining Parsons, Sherri was a staff accountant for accounting firms in Indianapolis, Bloomington, and Spencer for 16 years. She was also the lead accountant for for a large non-profit for 4 years.

Sherri and her husband Ted live south of Washington and enjoy spending time with their dogs, Tundra and Max, and cats, Bentley and Bob.
